About the Role

This role involves shaping the digital voice and content presence for major global events like COP and London Climate Action Week, engaging senior stakeholders, and driving real-world climate impact through strategic social media and content management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, newsletters, websites, and email platforms
  • Write compelling social media posts, website copy, speaker announcements, and promotional materials
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels
  • Design branded social media banners, graphics, and marketing assets using design software
  • Develop and execute creative social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Produce high-quality written, visual, and short-form video content
  • Support live event coverage through real-time updates, photography, and content capture
  • Coordinate communication schedules to ensure timely promotion of events and campaigns
  • Support audience growth, event registrations, and sponsorship lead generation
  • Promote speakers, sponsors, and partners to maximize visibility
  • Monitor industry trends in climate, sustainability, and finance to align content
  • Track digital marketing performance and prepare analytics reports with optimization recommendations
  • Maintain and update website assets to ensure a consistent digital customer journey
  • Research audience behavior and competitor activity to identify engagement opportunities
  • Support partnership and influencer collaboration opportunities
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaign innovation and community growth

Requirements

  • Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to create engaging multimedia content and graphics
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and campaign performance tracking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for managing multiple projects
  • Genuine interest in sustainability, climate action, or environmental topics
  • Experience with marketing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, HubSpot, or Hootsuite
  • Experience in B2B events, conferences, or media environments is a bonus
  • Proactive, collaborative, and creative approach to work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
