About the Role

The Microsoft 365 Architect at Finastra is a senior, hands-on engineering and operations role responsible for the design and day-to-day management of the global Microsoft 365 environment. This role combines strategic platform architecture with practical administration and L3/L4 support, ensuring services are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve architecture for M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Establish tenant-wide policies for data protection, retention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer and troubleshoot M365 services to ensure performance and availability.
  • Act as SME and escalation point for complex issues, performing root cause analysis.
  • Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations and coordinate global delivery.
  • Develop PowerShell automation and improve reporting and efficiency.
  • Maintain runbooks and documentation for operational consistency.
  • Work with global stakeholders and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT experience with strong M365 engineering background.
  • Experience working in global enterprise environments in similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable work style.
