About the Role

Operate, maintain, and monitor a single high-pressure boiler, ensuring safe operations and compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote, follow, and enforce all safety regulations.
• Monitor the boiler and DA tank.
• Ensure the safe operation of the boiler.
• Follow and enforce all GMP regulations.
• Follow and enforce all company policies.
• Ensure the boiler room is kept clean.
• Maintain and operate the ventilation systems in the boiler room.
• Complete and issue all necessary and future reports.
• Effectively communicate organizational and policy changes.
• Attend company-scheduled meetings when applicable.
• Inform supervision of any problems or complications that may arise in the boiler room.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of boiler room experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Valid stationary engineers license from the Department of Buildings.
• Must be able to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
• Commitment to company goals and employee safety.
• Effective communicator – verbal, written, electronic and ability to communicate and deal effectively with team members at all organizational levels.
• Understanding of production and plant processes.
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
• Able to stand for 8 hours, comfortable with working on your feet.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
