About the Role
Cilium Tetragon is a Kubernetes-aware security tool leveraging eBPF for real-time observability and enforcement. Threat Detection Engineers will create and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies based on threat intelligence, vulnerability disclosures, and research, acting as mitigation or monitoring against security issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies for customer visibility and protection against emerging threats.
- Design frameworks and architectures for easy policy consumption and security posture understanding.
- Monitor vulnerability disclosures and threat intelligence to develop Tetragon runtime security policies.
- Collaborate with software engineers at Isovalent and Cisco to enhance Tetragon security policy capabilities.
- Support and deploy Tetragon security policies in production by interacting with solution architects and customers.
- Publish content and give talks based on work performed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in threat and/or vulnerability research.
- 3+ years of experience in developing security detections at scale for diverse environments.
- 3+ years of experience working on Linux system security (e.g., capabilities, LSMs).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
