Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deliver new features and improvements to products in an agile team.
Manage the operational side of a highly available microservice architecture, including participating in an on-call rotation.
Tackle varied and challenging problems daily, showing flexibility, a data-driven focus on quality, and an ability to learn new skills quickly.
Take responsibility for tasks, from building new functionality to developing automated tests and investigating issues, with high attention to detail.
Use a variety of AI tools in the daily workflow for enhanced productivity.
Contribute to Cisco’s growth by using and applying AI in new scenarios and opportunities.
Receive dedicated mentorship and formal training from a supportive team of fellow engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics).
3+ years of professional programming experience in C++.
Willingness to learn new languages quickly.
Experience with using Linux and developing software running on Linux.
Understanding of virtual machines and containerisation technologies.
Experience with Docker.
