About the Role

As an Air Export Specialist, you will be responsible for the movement of customer air export shipments, coordinating and serving as the main point of contact from initial customer contact to final destination.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with overseas offices and domestic agents.
  • Facilitate air shipment arrangements, determining efficient routing, bookings, and deliveries.
  • Update customers on shipment status and address inquiries.
  • Complete daily checklist tasks to ensure KPI goals are met.
  • Track and trace shipments and maintain milestone updates in Cargowise.
  • Answer customer inquiries independently and resolve problems.
  • Maintain status updates and supporting notes in Cargowise and Salesforce.
  • Work with dispatch and maintain communication with transportation and warehouse agents.
  • Uphold all TSA standards and requirements in accordance with the IACSSP program.

Requirements

  • Proficient use of computer systems and applications (MS Office, Teams, Word, Excel, Cargowise, Exworks, TMS, EDM).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in resolving customer problems.
  • Exercise good judgment in resolving disputes or problems.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Express ideas and information clearly, concisely, and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate active listening and seek to understand other perspectives.

  • Assist with finding root causes and implement process improvements.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary/Compensations

  • $29.00-32.00/hr.
