About the Role

Splunk Solutions Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of the sales cycle, enabling prospects and customers to understand how Splunk can meet their requirements and becoming their trusted advisor. As a Solutions Engineering Intern, you will gain Splunk skills, certifications, and develop broader domain knowledge of Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Splunk's technology and use cases. This internship will provide a detailed understanding of the Solutions Engineering role and help you decide if a career in this field is right for you.

Responsibilities

Delivering standardized technical product webinars
Undertaking technical discovery calls/conversations with prospects
Delivering consultative presentations, demonstrations, and workshops
Understanding how Solutions Engineers own the technical strategy for opportunities
Determining the most appropriate form of Solution Validation and managing them to a successful outcome
Creating custom demonstrations based on customer use-cases and/or data
Responding to the technical elements of tenders (RFI/RFPs)
Answering technical questions from prospects and customers
Making general recommendations on Splunk solutions architecture
Identifying and managing technical issues arising throughout the sales lifecycle

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
