About the Role

Serve as the primary advisor to critical Central Government and Defence accounts, acting as the technical architect for digital transformation initiatives within national infrastructure. This role bridges policy and technology execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical consultant for multi-million-pound strategic bids, linking technical solutions to customer success.
• Provide authoritative insights on emerging technology trends to influence customer strategy and internal product development.
• Work with internal engineering, sales, and services teams to ensure a unified delivery model.
• Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, translating business objectives into actionable technical requirements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in senior/executive technical leadership, architectural design, or CTO/CIO-level advisory roles.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of multi-domain architectures (Networking, Security, Cloud, Collaboration) and their application in complex, regulated environments.
• Proven track record of engaging, influencing, and building long-term trust with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience navigating the unique requirements, compliance standards, and competitive landscape of the UK Public Sector and Defence industries.
• Strong experience of working with cross-functional teams through large-scale, high-impact digital transformations.
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
• Willingness to undergo public sector related background checks.
