About the Role
Join our Band 1 and award-winning dispute resolution team in Sydney. You will work closely with senior lawyers on construction and infrastructure disputes, focusing on the Australian and Asia-Pacific region. Your work will span the full project lifecycle, including risk management, advising on complex delivery issues, and dispute resolution processes like litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients involved in delivering projects across infrastructure, energy, and property sectors.
- Manage risk from the early stages of projects.
- Advise on complex project delivery issues.
- Engage in dispute resolution processes including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, expert determination, facilitation, mediation, and commercial negotiation.
- Contribute to identifying and resolving complex issues and disputes.
- Shape practical, commercial outcomes for clients.
Requirements
- Admission as a Lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- An excellent academic record.
- A commitment to developing as a construction disputes specialist.
- Excellent communication skills.
