About the Role
The Data Intelligence team is responsible for advancing data-driven decision-making across Acrisure. This role will lead the requirements gathering, design, implementation, and delivery of reporting and analytics capabilities for Finance and Accounting Business Functions, collaborating with various stakeholders from senior leadership to technical team members.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of efficient and reliable reporting and analytics capabilities with a customer-first mindset.
- Advance the transition of users from legacy means of accessing information to data enablement and self-service strategies.
- Create presentation/visualization of data to transform raw data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify, adopt, and evangelize data analysis best practices and technical standards.
- Advocate for and identify creative implementations to optimize business impact.
- Empower others to grow understanding of data complexity by scaling knowledge sharing.
- Help identify better practices, tools, and trends to improve data quality.
- Design and build BI applications with embedded workflows that automate decision points and enable action directly from data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Professional serving the finance and accounting business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to be a data storyteller and build data visualizations and reporting using third-party tools (Tableau and PowerBI).
- Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency working with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand processes, and translate them into data and KPIs.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools for natural language querying, including crafting effective prompts to extract insights from data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to unpack complex problems to find solutions.
- Ability to understand the business purpose or problem behind a request.
- Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork, solution-centric, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Possess empathy, kindness towards others, a positive attitude, and self-awareness.
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
