About the Role

Our New York office is looking for an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits associate with at least three years of big law experience. Prior law firm experience in these practice areas is required. Applicants must be admitted to the New York Bar. The Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits group regularly advises public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, equity and equity-based plans, bonus plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements and other executive compensation arrangements and regularly collaborates with various teams corporate, bankruptcy, employment law, and tax. Additional experience with tax qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans and other employee benefits is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Advise public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise on equity and equity-based plans.
  • Advise on bonus plans.
  • Advise on nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements.
  • Advise on other executive compensation arrangements.
  • Collaborate with corporate, bankruptcy, employment law, and tax teams.

Requirements

  • At least three years of big law experience.
  • Prior law firm experience in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice areas is required.
  • Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
