About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented National Account Manager II with a proven ability to craft business plans, maximize opportunities, and achieve profitability goals. The ideal candidate will excel at building long-term relationships and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop bi-annual business plans that align with company goals and customer needs.
- Deliver product presentations, business proposals, and ad plans to customers on time.
- Understand customer timelines and proactively provide necessary information and materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate setup of new items and maintenance of existing items.
- Collaborate with the support team to develop and update forecasts based on market realities.
- Review actual performance against goals and adjust plans as needed.
- Manage client-specific budgets.
- Analyze sell-through data and market intelligence to identify business opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers, providing prompt solutions to challenges.
- Work proactively with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Provide feedback and coaching to accounts within a team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.
- 5+ years of experience in major account management within the consumer goods industry, ideally the toy industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize key business activities.
- Strong communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
