About the Role

The Team Leader – FS Administration (EMEA) leads the delivery of accurate, timely administration of reinsurance treaties, including longevity swaps and mass lapse products. This role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and SOX controls, and driving process improvements to support financial reporting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with treaty terms and SOX controls
  • Provide direction on complex cases, data issues, and reconciliation challenges
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of FS Administration analysts
  • Allocate and prioritize team workload and capacity
  • Act as the primary escalation point for team members and internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across EMEA
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
  • Lead or support projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and automation

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Financial Services, pensions, insurance, or reinsurance administration
  • Proven experience leading or managing a team
  • Strong decision-making ability and experience managing escalations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Experience in reinsurance or longevity-related products
  • Exposure to audit, regulatory, or control frameworks including SOX
  • Experience leading process improvement or change initiatives
  • Professional qualifications such as CII or equivalent experience
