About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and business analysis capabilities, coupled with system development and enhancement skills. This role involves system setup, application development, technical support, and reviewing cross-functional operational processes to identify bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Process re-engineering and end user computing

• Analyze back-office processes with users and design/develop new processes, maintaining and updating them as the business environment changes.
• Handle actual reinsurance administration transactions as OJT to understand the process and explore enhancement points.
• Understand and analyze reinsurance contracts and load information into the main system.
• Participate in drafting reinsurance contracts and advise on establishing proper administration processes.
• Create risk and premium calculation sheets in Excel or functions using PL/SQL.
• Work with the IT team at the head office for risk and premium calculations.
• Analyze client data files and map columns to the main system's items using PL/SQL.
• Extract data from the main system.
• Create reports.
• Provide solution assistance.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the main system.
• Utilize RPA (Power Automate Desktop).

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a business application engineer (designer, developer, or tester) in a financial institution (insurance company).
• At least 3 years of experience in end-user computing support, including direct support and communication with end-users.
• Strong skills in standard SQL.
• Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Python/Pandas, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Skills and knowledge for Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with version management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, ADO.
• Entry-level mathematical knowledge, such as sigma (Σ) notation and understanding graphs.
