Responsibilities
- Manage patient screening and related data, and conduct initial imaging training for new or improved devices.
- Perform image analysis for patient screening, or supervise image analysis by healthcare professionals or employees, providing expert opinions on case evaluations.
- Train healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders on effective operation of imaging equipment, and review case images (e.g., CT, echocardiography, MRI, angiography) to provide appropriate advice.
- Collaborate with internal case support teams and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to support the development of patient selection criteria and screening protocols based on imaging findings.
- Update database information in a timely manner and smoothly manage the entire screening process by assigning tasks, confirming progress, and requesting updates from internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead screening review calls with Field Clinical Specialists and appropriately share evaluation data related to the assigned therapeutic area and imaging modality.
- Perform other duties incidental to the above.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of practical experience in CT or echocardiography in a hospital or medical device industry setting (required).
- Ability to receive training in English and maintain practical communication with overseas stakeholders after training completion (required).
Skills
- Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience or knowledge of image analysis software (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI).
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English for business purposes.
- Ability to appropriately instruct and educate other imaging specialists on the effective operation of imaging equipment in a clinical setting.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to accurately identify issues and logically develop and execute solutions.
- Ability to promote collaboration and effectively perform duties with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Sufficient knowledge of imaging equipment operation (e.g., 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT) and screening methods in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Understanding and compliance with Edwards' environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and meticulously.
- Ability to build good and productive collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
