About the Role
RSM's Consulting team partners with CFOs to design and implement future-ready Finance operating models. We evaluate and deploy pragmatic solutions that elevate client teams, enhance effectiveness, and modernize their digital footprint. This role is within the growing Business Transformation Consulting practice, specifically focused on Finance Transformation.
Responsibilities
- Establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective client relationships.
- Collaborate with team members, exchanging ideas to find the best solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and solve business challenges for clients.
- Contribute to client proposals and presentations.
- Work closely with clients as a trusted advisor.
- Manage teams and juggle multiple deadlines.
- Work in cross-functional project teams.
- Manage stakeholders and drive change in complex environments.
- Deliver transformation initiatives on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Solid and demonstrable PQE experience with an established portfolio of work experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong academic record, preferably with a relevant or business-focused degree (such as finance, accounting, business management or data analytics).
- Good understanding of finance processes and what ‘good looks like’ (e.g. across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P), and order-to-cash (O2C)).
- Ability to use knowledge of ‘good practice’ to identify process gaps, analyze impact, and propose solutions.
- Strong project management skills.
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels.
- Good client relationship management skills.
- Must be a team player, able to work in virtual teams and independently.
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated.
- High proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
