About the Role
We are seeking a versatile sales professional to fill a critical role within our Australian organisation. This position is designed for a motivated experienced seller who can balance the management of established accounts with the business development of our indirect sell-through partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Focus on enterprise account oversight for a major bank in Australia and new business development, enterprise sales and complex transactions.
- Navigating indirect "sell-with" or "sell-through" partner strategies with strategic GTM global systems integrators.
- Responsibility for bookings and revenue growth in line with our business strategies whilst overseeing quality services to our clients.
- Responsibility for individual achievement of sales targets.
- Development of resources to ensure skill levels match both current and future operational requirements.
- Maintenance and development of customer satisfaction through efficient task management and communication.
- Country liaison with third party suppliers and vendors and management of the on-going relationship.
- Country or sub-Regional level responsibility for sales achievement in line with corporate strategies and the delivery of quality services to Company clients.
- Country or sub-Regional responsibility for achievement of sales targets.
- Role covers management of new business development, enterprise sales and / or specialist and product sales.
- May involve the supervision of Marketing within the defined Country or Region.
- Development of service offerings in line with market demands, in liaison with sales and sales related functional groups.
- Achievement of sales targets in line with budgets and corporate sales objectives.
- Effective and appropriate account management in line with customer requirements will lead to higher customer satisfaction levels.
- Contributes to the on-going strategic development of the sales environment.
- Ability to deal effectively with all aspects of the role is critical to maximize the efficiency of sales operations.
- Successful implementation of the role will maximize margins, profits and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven Sales Performance: Minimum of 5 years of successful experience selling complex enterprise technology or managing strategic accounts.
- Hybrid Sales Exposure: Experience or a strong understanding of navigating both direct account management and indirect "sell-with" or "sell-through" partner strategies.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with contemporary digital infrastructure, including SDWAN, SASE, multi-cloud, and managed security services.
- Communication Excellence: A confident communicator capable of building trust with managers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders.
- Sales Methodology: Proficiency in advanced sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC or BANT) for rigorous pipeline qualification.
- Adaptability: A strong desire to learn, adapt, and take initiative in an ever-changing environment.
- FSI Industry Vertical: Proven experience selling into the Financial Services Industry (FSI), with specific knowledge of the Westpac ecosystem being highly regarded.
- SI Partner Mastery: Demonstrated ability to execute "sell-with" strategies via System Integrators (SIs) and strategic partners to drive indirect revenue growth.
- Forecasting Integrity: A disciplined approach to pipeline management with a commitment to transparent communication regarding "Commit" statuses and probability-based forecasting.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex deals from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
- Analytical & Insights: Ability to translate market insights into actionable partner development strategies and compelling business impact propositions.
