About the Role

The Marketing & Transaction Services (MTS) Specialist will manage the full lifecycle of Asia Pacific Financial Solutions (APFS) transactions, collaborating with various stakeholders to structure and execute complex, financially driven reinsurance transactions across the APAC region, with a primary focus on the Japanese market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the APFS transaction process by collaborating with technical specialists, documenting findings, and ensuring prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain accuracy across internal systems by updating data or status and fulfilling other necessary transaction service tasks.
• Actively engage with core deal teams, Business Sponsors, and Corporate Partners.
• Organize team calls and transaction-specific meetings, attend forums, manage information sharing, document action items, and provide progress reports.
• Establish and review transaction timelines with defined milestones and deadlines.
• Lead or support the preparation of transaction bidding and approval materials.
• Initiate required approvals and obtain all mandatory signoffs within designated timeframes.
• Ensure proper governance throughout the execution process.
• Collaborate with front-office teams and senior MTS members to build and maintain effective pipelines.
• Assist in the development of supporting and presentation materials.
• Complete additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business / Business Administration, Management, Finance / Accounting, Actuarial Science / Insurance or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in the financial services or re/insurance industry or consulting field.
• Willing to pursue continued learning related to reinsurance.
• Minimum 2+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Effectively manage resources and stakeholder expectations.
• Exposure to middle and back-office activities (Administration, Operation, Valuation, Finance / Accounting, Treaty, or Legal & Compliance) is a plus.
• Relevant advanced education in graduate school or professional certifications / qualifications in relevant fields is a plus.

• Business level in English and Japanese.
• Other language capability is a plus.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in setting goals and managing multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new methods and perform effectively under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
• Ability to work well within a wide geographical team environment and participate in team projects across multiple time zones.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience with AI or automation tools is a plus.
• Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
