About the Role

Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to join our growing academic team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching, supporting student success, and contributing to curriculum improvement in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
  • Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
  • Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
  • Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
  • Engage with quality assurance processes and contribute to module and programme evaluations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant Electrical Engineering related field
  • Experience teaching in Higher Education
  • Strong digital teaching capability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
  • Flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held
  • Must be flexible to travel to all campus locations

  • Up to £30,000 per annum (pro rata for 24 hours/week)
