Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
- Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
- Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
- Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
- Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable
- Deliver and support modules in Computer Science related disciplines including Advanced Programming in C#, Data Structures and Algorithms in Java, Databases using SQL, Advanced Databases and Big Data using Python, Web Design Programming using ASP .Net Core, Cloud Computing, and Applied Machine Learning using Python
Requirements
- A Master's degree in a relevant Computer Science related field
- Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
- A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (if not already held)
- PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
- Research or enterprise activity involvement
- Teaching qualification (FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, AHEA)
- Experience leading modules or academic teams
- Must be flexible to travel to all campus locations
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation

Salary/Compensations
- Up to £30,000 per annum subject to skills and experience (pro rata for 24 hours/week over three days, based on a full-time equivalent of £50,000)
