About the Role
A helpdesk-focused position with light systems administration duties, serving as the primary point of contact for technical incidents and requests. The role emphasizes customer service, deskside support, and clear communication while partnering with senior engineers for escalations.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops via deskside and remote assistance.
- Triage, resolve, and document issues while maintaining ticket queue health and meeting SLAs.
- Provision and image devices using WDS, MDT, or Autopilot.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including user lifecycle, licensing, groups, and MFA.
- Manage Exchange Online tasks and Outlook client remediation.
- Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Win32 app packaging.
- Operate ticketing and RMM systems while following and improving SOPs and runbooks.
- Coordinate with senior engineers on server and infrastructure tasks including AD, DNS, DHCP, File Services, and virtualization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Desktop Support.
- Proven customer service skills with experience in deskside support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windows imaging tools like WDS, MDT, or Autopilot.
- Daily administrative experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Working knowledge of Exchange Online administration and Outlook troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune device enrollment, compliance, and app deployment.
- Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong documentation skills for ticket management and SOP creation.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
