About the Role

A loving American family in Chelsea seeks a special full-time nanny/housekeeper to become an integral part of their family life. This role involves caring for a four-month-old baby and maintaining a clean, organized home. The position offers flexibility in hours and days, with opportunities for occasional babysitting and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate play, stimulation, and developmental activities.
• Support sleep routines and implement gentle sleep training as the child grows.
• Introduce solids using baby-led weaning when appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the baby.
• Prepare baby food.
• Perform general housekeeping, tidying living spaces and bedrooms, and vacuuming high-use areas.
• Handle daily laundry and ironing for the baby and family.
• Conduct weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms.

Requirements

• Demonstrate longevity in previous roles, ideally with at least 4 years with the same family.
• Possess proven, recent experience with babies from newborn age.
• Have solid knowledge of infant sleep, feeding, weaning to solids, and developmental stages.
• Exhibit exceptional cleaning skills.
• Be a confident cook, able to prepare meals for the family on occasion.
• Be warm, affectionate, and confident in setting age-appropriate boundaries.
• Possess a calm, positive, and patient temperament.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Be flexible for nights and travel.
• Hold a Paediatric first aid certification.
