About the Role
Redefine complex, data-heavy B2B/ERP software for over 50,000 e-commerce merchants with an AI-native approach. As a Senior Product Designer, you will deliver high-quality design and actively shape the quality and direction of our products. You will further develop existing design systems, integrate sound UX methods into our processes, and support other designers in expanding their skills and improving overall design quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale design systems across multiple products (patterns, tokens).
- Actively apply UX methods such as user research, journey mapping, and usability testing in product development.
- Structure complex or unclear problem spaces and derive clear UX strategies.
- Confidently present and communicate design decisions to teams and leadership.
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers, contributing to the improvement of overall design quality.
- Drive iterative product improvements based on user feedback and data.
- Utilize AI assistants and generative tools to accelerate wireframing, prototyping, design exploration, and asset creation, knowing when to rely on your own design intuition.
- Be comfortable with AI-driven workflows: provide high-level design prompts to AI tools, critically evaluate their output, and iterate based on your design expertise.
- Remain curious about new AI-driven design approaches and actively experiment with integrating them into your process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with AI-powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Galileo, Midjourney, ChatGPT/Claude for UX copy, or similar).
- Extensive experience in B2B environments with complex, data-intensive applications.
- A strong portfolio and proven experience in delivering real-world products.
- Experience applying UX methods to support product decisions.
- Proven experience in designing AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, and integrating AI into product workflows.
- Experience in designing AI-driven workflows or integrating Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities into design processes.
- Ability to independently evolve a design system across multiple products, not just consume it.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, structuring complex problems, and working autonomously.
- Fluent in English.
- Open to regular business travel or ideally living near Berlin or Cologne.
