About the Role
This internship pathway offers hands-on experience across Primary Sales, Exhibitions, and Gallery Operations at White Cube London. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of how a major commercial gallery operates, from exhibition planning and artist research to supporting the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales team with client research, artwork offer packs, and presentation materials.
- Manage sales data and learn how to nurture relationships with collectors.
- Support the Exhibitions team with show production, including budgeting, installation scheduling, and preparing artist dossiers.
- Attend exhibition kick-off meetings.
- Gain insight into gallery operations by working with teams curating viewing room presentations.
- Receive training in SketchUp.
- Gain exposure to art fairs such as Frieze London.
- Participate in monthly exhibition research to broaden awareness of the contemporary art landscape.
Requirements
- Demonstrable interest and some knowledge of contemporary art and the White Cube programme are essential.
- Applications are particularly welcome from individuals who have not yet had the opportunity to work in the art world.
- We do not expect applicants to have an existing network; this internship is designed to help build one.
