About the Role

As a member of the Product Management Team, you will design, develop, test, and deploy air travel shopping and reservation management solutions. You will collaborate with Product Engineering and Quality Assurance teams in a fast-paced, idea-driven environment to create industry-leading technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop feature and technical requirements in collaboration with Product Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
• Apply analysis, business processes, project methodologies, and testing to solve travel automation problems.
• Conduct business process modeling, including GDS integration research and concept testing.
• Work with clients to define solution success and identify automation gaps.
• Partner with technology team members to provide advice and solutions.
• Evaluate alternative solutions to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Estimate effort, value, and timelines for proposed solutions.
• Drive work timelines to completion by establishing or following prioritization processes.
• Document business and technical requirements clearly and concisely.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and scope to ensure appropriate priority and visibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in managed travel focused on air operations using GDS cores.
• In-depth knowledge of airline reservation processes and industry stakeholders.
• Experience with GDS platforms and Passenger Name Record (PNR) creation and management.
• Experience with post-booking reservation management and Mid-Office Automation Systems.
• Experience with GDS API suites for flights.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to analyze complex or vague business problems and translate them into solution recommendations.
• Ability to research, create, and document requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to develop and present ideas and strategies to diverse audiences.
