About the Role
Seeking a skilled Milking Parlor Maintenance Technician for a royal family farm in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of milking parlor facilities and equipment to ensure efficient dairy operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on milking systems, pumps, cooling systems, and vacuum lines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in milking equipment.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and malfunctions during milking operations using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Ensure the milking parlor is maintained to high cleanliness and sanitation standards, following farm and regulatory guidelines.
- Calibrate and adjust milking equipment for optimal performance and milk quality.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all milking parlor equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary equipment and replacement parts.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
- Train milking staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Work closely with farm management to align maintenance tasks with production schedules.
- Provide technical support and advice to team members as needed.
- Provide technical advice and support to other team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within a dairy or agricultural environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of milking machinery, dairy operations, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
