About the Role

We are seeking a part-time (20h/week) professional for preparatory accounting. This role is crucial for ensuring our financial records are accurate and submitted on time to our tax office. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment while also enjoying the dynamic atmosphere of a communications agency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preparatory accounting tasks, including sorting, verifying, and recording documents, incoming, and outgoing invoices.
  • Ensure digital and physical documents are complete, correctly assigned, and well-managed.
  • Create outgoing invoices, verify incoming invoices for accuracy, and ensure timely processing.
  • Review, sort, and prepare colleagues' travel expense reports for further processing.
  • Monitor outstanding items and assist with payment preparations.
  • Act as a liaison with our external tax office, ensuring timely and complete submission of all documentation.
  • Provide general commercial support in daily operations, focusing on tasks requiring numerical accuracy and organization.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., office clerk, industrial clerk, tax assistant) or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional experience in preparatory accounting, preferably in an agency, medium-sized company, or tax office.
  • Proficient in standard office software.
  • Meticulous, structured, and independent work style.
  • Keen eye for detail and discretion in handling sensitive financial information and documents.
  • Reliability and sense of responsibility.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
