About the Role
Support the day-to-day administration of the Corporate Counsel’s Office at The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), contributing to the mission of saving, transforming, and protecting animal lives. The Corporate Counsel’s Office provides legal support and policy guidance across all ASPCA departments, ensuring compliance with organizational goals and laws. This role requires strong organizational, proactive, resourceful, and efficient work habits, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all finalized contracts are fully executed and saved appropriately.
- Track metadata for fully executed contracts.
- Support attorneys in tracking key contract dates, such as expiration and automatic renewal.
- Input, track, and manage matters in the online legal management system.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders for follow-up items.
- Assist the compliance team with regulatory filings, including securing signatures and confirming receipt.
- Support the team in drafting, mailing, and tracking communications.
- Maintain organized electronic files within the digital file management system.
- Assist the team with calendar management.
- Assist the team with travel planning.
- Prepare and submit expense reports for the team.
- Maintain knowledge of department priorities and workflow.
- Review administrative functions and implement process improvements.
- Monitor team inboxes and provide support.

Salary/Compensations
- $38.00 - $40.40 per hour
