About the Role
Japan Macro Structurer offers structured solutions to FI and Corporate clients by understanding client needs, market environment, bank resources, and constraints. The role involves working with sales and trading/structuring teams across regions to maximize franchise value and deliver optimal transactions. The firm aims to grow its non-flow business in Japan, and this role is key to its strategic planning and implementation with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Articulate market, product, and accounting/regulatory aspects of transactions to clients and internal counterparties, including global teams and control functions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and growth in non-flow businesses through continuous experimentation.
- Perform duties in compliance with Deutsche Bank's values and briefs.
- Meet performance metrics related to red-flags, complaints, and annual objectives.
Requirements
- Experience working in the industry.
- Knowledge of macro (IR, FX, EM and QIS) markets.
- Understanding of the macro environment, including regulatory changes.
- Quantitative skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Business Level English.
- Native Japanese language proficiency.
