About the Role
This role involves quality assurance and customer support for research instruments, reagents, and medical devices. You will handle customer complaints, investigate product issues, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. This is a key position contributing to scientific advancement and customer support in various fields.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints, evaluations, and investigations for research instruments, reagents, medical devices, and in-vitro diagnostic reagents.
- Investigate product defects with overseas manufacturing sites, request root cause analysis, and confirm corrective actions.
- Coordinate with domestic departments (Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs) and provide customer reports.
- Review and issue investigation reports to customers.
- Provide chemical and technical explanations and handle quality-related inquiries.
- Manage regulatory compliance for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic reagents.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a science field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering).
- Knowledge of and experience with handling various research instruments, analytical reagents, or products from other companies.
- Experience using IT systems such as SAP, TrackWise, and SFDC.
- Business-level English proficiency (reading technical documents, email, and conference calls).
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
