About the Role
We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative – Telecom Structures to lead and manage strategic customer relationships with key Telecom Carrier, Tier 1 Contractors, and Telecom Asset accounts. This role will drive national sales performance, develop strategic business plans, achieve sales and profitability targets, and drive growth across the Utilities segment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and manage strong relationships with Carriers, Tier 1 clients, and key industry decision-makers.
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key national accounts.
- Work with Carriers and Vendors on product specification.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and build a reputation for market-leading support.
- Lead solution development and oversee complex technical applications with support from engineering, supply chain, and internal project teams.
- Direct and coordinate involvement of internal resources to meet customer expectations and maximize market performance.
- Implement robust national key account planning processes including financial targets, performance milestones, and 12-month forward strategies.
- Present customers with value-add offerings such as design optimization, cost savings, and lead-time improvements.
- Maintain deep market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing insights, major projects, and industry trends.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Achieve national sales quotas, growth targets, and profitability expectations.
- Ensure customer objectives and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Knowledge of working with major wireless carriers including Optus, NBN, TPG, and Telstra.
- Extensive experience in senior sales, account management, or business development roles within utilities, infrastructure, civil, telecommunications, or electrical industries.
- Advanced networking and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage at senior and executive levels.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and contract/tender management capability.
- Strong track record in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
