About the Role
We are seeking Qualified Electricians to join the Real Pet Food team in Ingleburn. You will be responsible for preventative and corrective electrical maintenance as part of the factory maintenance schedule, working within a busy pet food manufacturing environment that processes raw meat.
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and hands-on repairs and maintenance of on-site electrical systems, sub-componentry, or instrumentation.
- Adhere to safe systems of work, food safety compliance, and engineering standards.
- Conduct both unplanned (reactive/breakdown) and planned (corrective/preventative/rebuild) electrical maintenance for equipment.
- Serve as the first point of contact for electrical maintenance needs and escalate issues as needed.
- Investigate electrical, control, infrastructure, or automation systems.
- Report safety or food safety near misses, incidents, or hazards.
Requirements
- Must possess a NSW Accredited Electrician Licence.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a food production or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and sound judgment regarding issue escalation and safety protocols.
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to utilize a CMMS.
- Experience with inventory management.
- Must be flexible and willing to engage in all maintenance operations.
- Must have a proactive mindset.
- Qualifications in Electrical Trades are essential (proof required).
- Comfortable working in an environment that processes raw meat.
- Attend a phone interview and a site-based interview.
- Submit evidence of Trade Qualifications and Driver's Licence.
- Agree to completing a Pre-Employment Medical.
- Agree to allowing RPF to contact up to two references.
