About the Role
Lead Facility Management teams across Burwood and Richmond Hospitals, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness of buildings, plant, equipment, and the environment. Manage teams, programs, and drive efficiencies through technological and environmental changes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain hospital preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain, update, and further develop Building Management Systems.
- Manage capital works programs, including new initiatives and replacement planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory standards and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of equipment.
- Ensure cost-effective maintenance services.
- Monitor and review invoicing and service sheets for contracted services.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date capital replacement life cycle plan.
- Manage and allocate staff resources effectively.
- Manage staff rosters, including leave provisions, on-call rostering, and team responsibilities.
Requirements
- Strong background in facility management within a commercial, hospital, or healthcare environment.
- Proven experience coordinating and managing the day-to-day logistics and operational requirements of a healthcare facility.
- Positive, adaptable approach and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Proficiency in standard office software and engineering works management systems.
- Hold formal qualifications in engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Hold a current NSW driver's license.
- Commitment to and support of Mission and Values.
- All caregivers are required to be vaccinated from Influenza.
