About the Role

We are seeking a System Safety Engineer with an automotive background in ADAS and autonomous driving to define and manage safety architecture and requirements for autonomy software and hardware, playing a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Derive and manage safety concepts, requirements, and specifications for L4 SDS autonomy software and hardware.
• Lead the development of safety architecture.
• Perform safety analyses including FMEA, FTA, and STPA.
• Collaborate with verification and validation teams to ensure requirements are met throughout the development process.
• Contribute to the overall safety case of the final product.
• Promote a culture of safety and provide training on safety practices.
• Monitor and report on safety performance and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Define project goals and oversee execution to ensure requirements are met.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in System Safety or Functional Safety Engineering.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
• Experience with ADAS, autonomous systems, and robotics.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/DPAS 8800, and UL4600.
• Experience with safety requirements across the V-model from architecture to verification and validation.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
