About the Role
Bring your frontline clinical expertise into a commercial healthcare environment, influencing product decisions, supporting innovation, and ensuring our solutions remain clinically appropriate, compliant, and cost-effective. You’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and business outcomes—supporting product development, pack optimisation, and enabling confident decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical reviews of products and pack configurations, supporting initiatives such as cost optimisation, product changes, discontinuations, and regulatory (SOPP/TGA) requirements
- Provide clinical approval and guidance on product substitutions, working closely with the SOS Manager to ensure safe and appropriate outcomes
- Deliver and support engaging clinical education sessions, including product launches, portfolio updates, and refresher training across the business
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support pack optimisation and product selection, identifying clinically appropriate, best-value solutions
- Contribute clinical expertise to tender submissions and product evaluations, supporting successful outcomes
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Sourcing to maintain accurate and up-to-date component information
- Attend regular shortage and supply review meetings, recommending clinically appropriate alternatives to ensure continuity
- Provide timely, practical clinical advice to support day-to-day operations across teams including Production, Planning, QA/RA, and Complaints
- Demonstrate strong ownership and responsiveness, ensuring clinical queries are actioned efficiently to support business needs
Requirements
- Strong clinical background as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Nurse Educator or an experienced Registered Nurse
- Strong Operating room / perioperative experience is essential
- Confident in interpreting and communicating clinical product knowledge
- Commercially aware with a strong desire to influence outcomes beyond the bedside
- Proven ability in building effective relationship with both internal and external stakeholders with a focus on collaboration
