About the Role
We are seeking a spirited Workspace Experience Associate (Barista) to energize our clubhouse. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals seeking a meaningful career shift into a corporate environment, leveraging hospitality and customer service skills in a dynamic setting where no two days are the same. You will be based in our Customs House clubhouse in Sydney, taking the lead on all cafe operations.
Responsibilities
- Create personalized experiences for members and guests as the welcoming face of the workspace.
- Prepare a variety of beverages and manage the day-to-day operations of the cafe.
- Manage member and guest questions, inquiries, booking requests, and mail promptly, acting as a problem solver.
- Organize and execute workplace events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for food, consumables, and clubhouse supplies.
- Assist with day-to-day workspace operations, including opening and closing procedures and space checks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar service-oriented sector.
- Experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer-centric and hospitality-led mindset, adapting to guest needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and pragmatic approach.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Proficient multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Genuine passion for building relationships and fostering rapport.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain RSA and Food Handling Certificate.
