About the Role

The Data & Feeds Sales Specialist will focus on commercializing next-generation software and data solutions for financial institutions, driving sustainable growth of LSEG’s footprint through market understanding and sales execution. This role requires strong influencing skills to collaborate with Account Management teams and achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Meet and exceed targets by leading with customer value and leveraging proposition knowledge.
  • Structure deals and utilize market and business acumen to outsell the competition.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline to identify daily opportunities.
  • Inspire customers to renew their contracts.
  • Execute strategy for sustainable growth of LSEG’s footprint in data and software solutions.
  • Detail and drive sales execution.
  • Provide in-depth customer and market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process.
  • Partner with technical sales engineering experts and collaborate across matrixed functions.
  • Monitor key competitors, analyze their landscape, and develop strategies for competitive advantage.
  • Drive the thought-leadership agenda as a spokesperson for the proposition.
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on specific propositions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in selling financial data and solutions.
  • Proven track record in a quota-bearing environment.
  • Knowledge and direct experience in selling solutions to the Financial Services community.
  • Strong technical knowledge within financial markets mid and back office operations domain.
