About the Role
Join the Liberty Mutual Mobility Solutions team to shape the future of insurance in the emerging mobility space. This role involves underwriting research and consultative skills across Ridehail, Delivery, and Autonomous Vehicles sectors, contributing to a new collaborative model that offers tailored solutions and nuanced pricing.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative insights and apply sophisticated capabilities to navigate evolving insurance exposures and products.
- Underwrite commercial auto, workers compensation, and general liability.
- Collaborate with other underwriting segments for cross-sell opportunities including umbrella, excess, cyber, tech E&O, property, and inland marine.
- Curate a profitable, diversified book of business through collaboration, marketing, informed decision-making, and sustaining agent/broker relationships.
- Reinforce market-leading credibility and thought leadership.
- Demonstrate comprehension of complex technical underwriting issues.
- Define and implement necessary underwriting and administrative processes/workflows to properly manage or administer complex issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years, typically 10 years or more, of progressive underwriting experience.
- Proven analytical ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within scope of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses and information in understandable written and/or oral directives.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of developing and underwriting profitable business.
