About the Role
Soundly Speaking is seeking passionate and committed SLPs to serve adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the North Austin area. As the leading adult IDD therapy provider in Texas, we collaborate with dayhab staff and families to support clients aged 21 and up.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to clients’ homes to provide individually tailored therapy
- Documenting therapy visits
- Contacting families and case managers to share updates
- Utilizing and augmenting provided resources for therapy
- Provide high quality evaluations and goal setting
- Supervise assistants during therapy sessions and provide quality feedback
- Turn in paperwork within a 24-hour timeline
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations
Requirements
- Ability to learn on the job and utilize/augment provided materials
- Texas-issued Speech Language Pathologist License
- Comfortable working with adults in their homes and/or outside of a clinic
