About the Role
The Associate will play an integral role in the Alternatives ABS business in the U.S., contributing to credit memo drafting, pitch book composition, database management, and supporting origination efforts within the Global Credit & Financing Solutions complex.
Responsibilities
- Assist with management of capital markets transactions and lending exposures in the Alternatives ABS business.
- Coordinate regularly with senior team members on new transactions and portfolio maintenance.
- Help draft memos for credit, sales, and syndicate for lending commitments and new ABS transactions.
- Assist in all aspects of transaction execution management from mandate to close.
- Communicate actively with internal constituencies regarding transaction/project management.
- Help prepare internal reports for senior management, including development of online monitoring.
- Stay informed of key trends related to asset classes and client dynamics.
- Work on ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics or related field.
- Proven years of structured finance experience at an investment bank working in ABS.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and change priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
