About the Role

The Decision Science leader will shape and deliver high-impact, data-driven strategies to accelerate performance. This role involves structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex information, and driving alignment across senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and prioritization through advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Decision Scientists to support high-impact analyses across banking channels, segments, and products.
  • Manage talent acquisition, coaching, and organization of decision science professionals.
  • Integrate team culture and ensure consistency in analytical deliverables.
  • Foster communication and partnership with senior leadership and C-Suite executives.
  • Drive business outcomes through data-driven insights to increase revenue and efficiency.
  • Execute decision science projects using quantitative analysis and machine learning.
  • Represent the business group in various forums and executive reviews.
  • Manage risk and foster a client-centric culture in all design and deployment practices.
  • Structure ambiguous problems and synthesize complex information for senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Groups and Lines of Business to align on quantifiable goals.
  • Manage the full analytics lifecycle including data sourcing, cleaning, validation, and modeling.
  • Collaborate with data management, strategy, and technology teams to embed analytics at scale.
  • Utilize machine learning and generative AI to accelerate insight generation.
  • Translate complex findings into executive-ready narratives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
  • 10+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of analytics management experience with a diverse project focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and diverse internal business partners.
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Must work in-office at a designated location.
  • English language fluency.
