About the Role
Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is hiring now for Property Managers. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, assessing customer needs, selling supplies, conducting unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments.
Responsibilities
- Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions.
- Sell packing and moving supplies.
- Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
- Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
- Assist customers with payments and make reminder and collection calls.
- Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds.
- Transport/lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.
- Ability to transport/lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
- Experience in customer service-centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
