About the Role
As the heart of our HR team, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, ensuring administrative tasks run smoothly and providing warm, empathetic support. Absolute discretion and trustworthiness are essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative daily business of the HR department, including data maintenance in HR systems and maintaining the electronic file archive.
- Provide administrative support throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including deadline control, probation reviews, duty roster checks, and preparation for anniversaries and birthdays.
- Administer and update relevant HR documents and the Human Resources Handbook.
- Offer general support to the HR team in daily operations.
- Ensure smooth onboarding by checking personnel documents for completeness and preparing the orientation phase for new team members.
- Provide professional and empathetic support during exit processes and coordinate related appointments.
- Serve as a warm and competent point of contact for all employees, apprentices, and trainees, listening to their concerns.
- Maintain internal communication channels (e.g., info TV) and draft internal announcements.
- Conduct regular check-ins in personnel areas (e.g., changing rooms, canteen) to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
- Actively participate in the planning, organization, and coordination of HR actions and team events (e.g., annual parties, farewells).
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training in the hotel industry with prior administrative experience.
- Alternatively, a relevant degree (e.g., Hotel or Personnel Management).
- Approximately 1 year of professional experience in a similar administrative or operational environment is ideal.
- High degree of accuracy, structured, and reliable work style with the ability to maintain an overview of administrative details.
- Empathetic and people-oriented personality, treating everyone equally.
- Demonstrate trustworthiness, discretion, and loyalty when handling personnel data.
- Fluent communication in German.
- Very good English language skills.
- Proficiency in German and very good English.
