About the Role
Intact Commercial & Specialty Lines is hiring Senior Actuarial Analysts to apply actuarial judgment to innovative products within a global insurer. This role offers opportunities to learn and grow within a company that has a varied product offering across Canada, the US, UK, and Europe, with over 22 verticals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic initiatives that enhance pricing sophistication within ratemaking.
- Help explain nationwide performance by supporting earnings call preparation.
- Deliver actuarial support for large-account pricing across more than 22 lines of business.
- Strengthen governance through indications, rate committees, and corporate planning processes.
- Drive change by improving work processes, adopting modern technologies, and making substantial observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Resolve complex problems and help colleagues by sharing actuarial knowledge.
- Guide and prioritize team's work and coach effectively to strengthen individual and group success.
- Share analysis conclusions with stakeholders and make recommendations within established timelines.
Requirements
- University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- 3 years or more of actuarial experience, preferably in the P&C Insurance sector.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- No Canadian work experience required.

- 87,200 - 106,600 (based on a 35-hour workweek)
