About the Role

Intact Commercial & Specialty Lines is hiring Senior Actuarial Analysts to apply actuarial judgment to innovative products within a global insurer. This role offers opportunities to learn and grow within a company that has a varied product offering across Canada, the US, UK, and Europe, with over 22 verticals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic initiatives that enhance pricing sophistication within ratemaking.
• Help explain nationwide performance by supporting earnings call preparation.
• Deliver actuarial support for large-account pricing across more than 22 lines of business.
• Strengthen governance through indications, rate committees, and corporate planning processes.
• Drive change by improving work processes, adopting modern technologies, and making substantial observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Resolve complex problems and help colleagues by sharing actuarial knowledge.
• Guide and prioritize team's work and coach effectively to strengthen individual and group success.
• Share analysis conclusions with stakeholders and make recommendations within established timelines.

Requirements

• University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 3 years or more of actuarial experience, preferably in the P&C Insurance sector.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• No Canadian work experience required.

• 87,200 - 106,600 (based on a 35-hour workweek)
