About the Role
Entry-level sales position supporting the DIY business to achieve sales and service objectives. Requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from various locations. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
- Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store sales goals
- Perform DIY services such as battery installation and testing, and wiper installs
- Maintain store product and operational standards
- Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock
- Ensure store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
Requirements
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly communication skills
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Proficiency in operating inventory systems and store equipment
- Knowledge of parts and automotive systems
- Ability to operate POS and Parts lookup systems
- Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
- Speak and write English (Spanish is a plus)
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Ability to talk and hear

- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
