About the Role

The Facilities Floor Manager assists the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager in overseeing all facility operations, managing team members, and directing daily operations. This role involves exercising independent judgment in staffing, scheduling, performance management, and policy enforcement, serving as a key representative of management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager in ensuring the proper operations of all facility related operations.
  • Interview, recommend hire, direct, assign work duties and responsibilities, schedule, order, supervise, train, discipline, and develop employees.
  • Monitor compliance with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, government rules and regulations, and union guidelines.
  • Manage team members and direct daily operations, exercising independent judgment in staffing, scheduling, performance management, and enforcement of company policies.
  • Serve as a representative of management, spending the majority of time on supervisory and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Provide input into hiring, discipline, and other employment actions that are given significant weight.
  • Maintain the building and grounds, direct employees, and oversee the upkeep of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with oversight of companywide work orders throughout the property.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift and training to communicate updates and company policy using established protocols.
  • Supervise subordinate staff, performing activities such as assigning work, evaluating performance, and administering disciplinary action.
  • Adjust shift schedules for call outs, vacations, and other paid time off.
  • Conduct property inspection walks, including on all casino floors and outside property, and submit detailed reports.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Execute equipment audits and record taking policies.
  • Ensure employees are trained to work safely and efficiently within current regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both employees and guests.
  • Promote positive public and employee relations.
  • Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds.
  • Prolonged sitting during the shift.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Salary/Compensations

  • $84,120 - $86,920
