About the Role
The Installer assists in job construction, including cabinet installation, refacing, flooring, and tile work. This role involves managing labor and materials, ensuring job site safety, and tracking project completion quality and timeliness to meet customer expectations and provide excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Review Engineering specs and ensure job flow is in order.
- Work independently or lead subcontractors to complete tasks within specified timeframes, meeting quality and customer service expectations.
- Ensure availability of necessary tools, equipment, materials, and labor for smooth job progression.
- Conduct final punch list walkthroughs with customers to confirm job completion, site cleanup, and customer satisfaction.
- Accurately track time daily.
- Maintain 100% safety standards on all job sites.
- Manage tools, cords, and materials daily on each work site.
- Clean up all installation areas, perform maintenance on company tools and equipment, and ensure debris removal.
- Secure and lock up tools, equipment, and the site at the end of each workday.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience preferred as a carpenter or in a related field.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service-related industry.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Computer skills, with knowledge of primary Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
- Proficient use of all tools per mid-level Carpenter requirements.
- Experience with router, chop saw, and finish carpentry tools.
- Experience with layout using a laser for level, square, and grades.
- Experience with cabinetry installation.
- Experience with refacing installation.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Clean DMV record and valid Driver's license.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for positive interaction with team members and clients.
