About the Role

Join Simon-Kucher as an intern in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Division, contributing to commercial strategy, pricing, and sales initiatives. Gain expertise across innovative healthcare sectors and work in specialized, high-energy teams to help clients optimize revenue models and achieve profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial growth strategies.
  • Support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales effectiveness initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify new revenue opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Assist in designing and implementing commercial models aligned with business objectives.
  • Master the art and science of pricing by analyzing data, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Optimize pricing structures, discounting models, and value-based pricing strategies.
  • Turn analysis into actionable recommendations through quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Develop financial models, customer segmentation analyses, and pricing simulations.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure recommendations are practical and implemented successfully.
  • Communicate insights and drive change through compelling presentations and reports.
  • Participate in client workshops, discussions, and presentations.
  • Engage directly with client teams to drive buy-in and adoption of strategic recommendations.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.
  • Work closely with colleagues in a culture of mentorship, continuous learning, and belonging.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program at an accredited university/college.
  • Pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, public health, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Expected graduation date between May and June 2028.
  • 0 years of work experience.
  • Consulting club or industry group experience is highly valued.
  • Ability to intern for 9 weeks from June 7 to August 6, 2027.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with pricing models, sales data, and financial metrics.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for business growth, pricing optimization, and revenue strategy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.
