About the Role
The CRM AI Transformation group enhances eBay's intelligent, personalized customer experiences across owned channels by integrating CRM, AI, Recommendation Systems, Marketing Technology, and Analytics. This role focuses on AI-powered decision systems to translate CRM transformation strategy into system-level product requirements and define model behavior for CRM use cases, ensuring governance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage CRM AI decisioning and personalization capabilities that support individualized customer interactions.
- Ensure CRM AI systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
- Translate CRM transformation strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and configuration updates.
- Define decision logic, governance rules, and configuration frameworks for eligibility, suppression, channel arbitration, and contact strategy.
- Partner with CoreAI, Recs/Memory, MarTech/UEP, and Analytics to validate model behavior, content selection, and policy enforcement.
- Lead testing and optimization for CRM AI features, driving experiment setup, launch, monitoring, and performance analysis.
- Drive cross-functional delivery across Marketing, Product, Technology, and Analytics partners, communicating status, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, CRM, personalization, decision systems, technical marketing, or AI/ML-enabled digital transformation roles.
- Ownership of measurable business outcomes.
- Strong business-systems mindset with an end-to-end perspective.
- Proven experience translating strategy into actionable product requirements, experiments, prioritization decisions, and success metrics.
- Experience working on or closely with personalization, recommendation, or decisioning systems.
- Comfort defining requirements for AI or ML-powered products, including model evaluation, experimentation, observability, logging, technical success criteria, and governance.
- Strong cross-functional communication and partner collaboration skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
