About the Role
The Pension Technology group at HOOPP is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, automation, and continuous delivery of the Insight Pension Platform across 10+ environments. This role focuses on streamlining release pipelines, maintaining environment health, and collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality, compliant deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Maintain 10+ environments including stability, data refreshes, and deployment readiness
- Manage platform security including gMSA service accounts, TDE encryption, SSL/TLS, Azure Key Vault, and CyberArk integration
- Enforce SOD pipeline policies and audit/compliance remediation
- Respond to and resolve production incidents via on-call rotation
- Identify manual bottlenecks and build automation solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on release coordination
- Maintain documentation including environment matrices, incident playbooks, and deployment runbooks
- Participate in Agile Scrum practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or operations
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive processes
- Comfortable working in on-call rotations
- Experience in pension, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred
